This week, we were super proud to celebrate Deltabase turning 4 with our exceptional team.
The last 4 years have flown by and it’s incredible to look back and take stock of what we have achieved so far.
The Journey So Far
Alastair, David and Phil co-founded Deltabase with a shared passion to make professional services more data-led.
Through a series of discoveries and pivots, we have developed a way of leveraging open source data to access deep insight on companies very rapidly, assembling structured benchmarking products that allow advisors to compare any company to its competitors at a very granular level.
We worked with customers to validate that there is real business value to be unlocked through ‘outside-in’ benchmarking and verified accuracy (85-90% accurate versus company-provided data).
We’re now working with some of the world’s best M&A deals advisors and management consultancies on both sides of the Atlantic and I’m so proud that we’ve been able to grow at a rate of 2.5x per annum, 2 years in a row.

Sungpok (Tiger) and Kirtana work magic on benchmarking briefs for our clients day-in, day-out, continually experimenting with ways to enhance our products.
Jim has applied cutting-edge data engineering and machine learning techniques to build a scalable data processing pipeline whilst rapidly accelerating our turnaround times (our record stands at 7 hours from sign-off to delivery).
Bradley is developing our first suite of on-demand intelligence and benchmarking products, starting with a business development co-pilot for people consulting professionals which will enter beta testing very soon.
Nikitaa has brought rigour to our business development activities and is expert at identifying consulting and due diligence leaders who could benefit from collaborating with us.
The Road Ahead
We’ve already come so far but what really excites me is the road ahead. We’re just getting started.
We will soon be launching our first institutional fundraise to supercharge our product development and growth. This will be pivotal for us and will mark a new chapter in our story.
Our first on-demand intelligence product will be entering beta test very soon. It will provide deep insight to help people consulting professionals accelerate sales for human capital-focused consulting propositions including HR transformation, culture change, employee experience, learning & development, and more. I can’t wait to get that into the hands of our customers and see the positive impact it drives.
