Deltabase at 7: Staying People First and building momentum

Seven years ago, Deltabase started with a simple belief: that organisations make better decisions when they truly understand people.

Not just metrics. Not just engagement scores. Not just processes.

But culture, leadership, behaviour, sentiment, and the human signals that shape how organisations actually perform.

As we celebrate Deltabase turning seven, we’ve been reflecting not only on how far we’ve come, but on the ideas that shaped us from the beginning — and the people continuing to shape where we go next.

Built on belief

We began the year by investing in people.

When Phil Spratt, Alastair Whiteley, and David Rowe founded Deltabase, the vision wasn’t simply to create another technology company.

It was to build something that genuinely helped organisations understand people better.

From the very beginning, there was a shared belief that culture, leadership, workforce experience, and human behaviour were becoming some of the most important drivers of organisational success — yet too often they were difficult to measure, understand, or act upon.

That belief shaped the foundations of Deltabase.

Staying people first as we grow

Growth changes companies.

Over the last seven years, we’ve evolved from an idea into a growing platform supporting organisations navigating some of the most complex people and transformation challenges they face.

But one thing has remained consistent: our people-first mindset.

It shapes how we build. How we work. How we partner with clients. And how we think about the future of AI and organisational intelligence.

That mindset continues to attract incredible people to the business.

Over the last few months, we’ve been excited to welcome:

  • Lucie Odell, joining as Head of Sales, bringing deep experience and energy as we continue scaling our commercial growth.

  • Adam Lansley, joining our development team as Front End Developer, helping shape the next generation of Deltabase experiences.

As we continue growing the team, we’re focused on building thoughtfully — bringing together people who share our curiosity, ambition, and belief in human-centred transformation.

Launching Deltabase One

This year also marks another major milestone with the launch of Deltabase One.

Deltabase One represents a significant step forward in how organisations access and act on intelligence.

Bringing together insights across culture, workforce, leadership, talent, product, technology, and transformation, it’s designed to help organisations move beyond fragmented information and towards connected understanding.

But while the platform evolves, the mission behind it remains unchanged.

Technology should empower better conversations. Better leadership. Better organisational decisions. And ultimately, better outcomes for people.

Seven years in and still building

Startups often talk about speed.

But seven years in, we’ve learned that sustainable growth is built differently.

It’s built through relationships. Trust. Consistency. Curiosity. And people willing to keep building through uncertainty.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of the journey so far — our team, clients, partners, supporters, and community.

The last seven years have shaped who we are.

The next chapter is about building even more momentum while staying true to the thing that got us here in the first place:

Putting people first.

Here’s to the next chapter.
